Hittin’ Shit With Sticks
From the moment I saw “Kiss” on TV back in the '70s, I knew drumming was my calling. I was captivated by their energy and stage presence, and my first drummer hero was none other than Animal from “The Muppets”. I told my mom I wanted to play drums, but my dad had one rule: anything but the drums. Fortunately, I didn't listen! Now, generations later, my kids and grandkids are banging on drums in the house too, keeping the beat alive.
Growing up, I was heavily influenced by drummers like John Bonham of Led Zeppelin and Tommy Lee, with a strong connection to '80s hair bands. That raw, high-energy style has shaped my playing into something powerful and unapologetically live.
Hittin’ Shit With Sticks
I've had the honor of opening for legendary acts such as Ronnie James Dio, Quiet Riot, Tesla, Trapt, Texas Hippie Coalition, and Jackyl, to name a few. But it's not just the famous names that made the journey memorable. Bands like Late Night Trouble, Tennessee Holy Water, Voodoo Chili, Voodoo13, 13South and Sandy Jones Project have been just as much a part of my story.
Live drumming is where I thrive – the stage is my safe space, my home, the one place where I know I belong.
My style? High-energy, all-in, leaving nothing on the table. Whether it's rocking out with Charlie Wayne Morrill of Platinum Rose or embarking on upcoming tours across the US and overseas with Honey Child and Detoure, I'm ready to hit the road and keep drumming my way into the future.
My ultimate goal? To be a working drummer, touring nonstop, bringing my passion for hair bands, rock, and live performance to fans everywhere. I’m not slowing down anytime soon!
